The Jackson Hewitt firm hosts
Wekiva River clean-up
Another great day on the Wekiva River ~ the Team from Jackson Hewitt & fellow volunteers pulled hundreds of feet of fising line & another 69.4 pounds of trash.

It was a picture perfect Saturday morning

The Jackson Hewitt team (and Mike pictured in the back row, photo by Gina) that gave up their Saturday morning to help Keep Seminole Beautiful.

At the start of a peaceful, beautiful morning on the Wekiva...
Soon they begin their work, here a KSB regular, Clarinda battles to recover monofilament (fishing line) complete with hook and bobber, a combination the has entangled many birds and other wildlife. Hundreds of feet were removed today which will be recycled.

With the 69.4 pounds of trash today (Stanley, pictured here, found the most unusual item ~ we don't know what it is) we have removed 1,785 pounds of trash in October and we have two more clean-ups scheduled in October!
