Road Clean-ups Can Be Fun
On Saturday morning at 8:00 AM seven volunteers started walking the two mile stretch of Wekiva Springs Road from SR 434 to the post office. They picked up several bags of trash, a couple bags of recyclables and a rusted can of turpentine along the roadway. The trash, canes & hazardous turpentine would have eventually been washed into the street and down the storm drains into the Wekiva River!

During the clean-up a very small hoola-hoop was found and the games began...
