UCF volunteers show what real dedication is about. At 9:00 AM this Saturday morning, thirty-one UCF volunteers set out on a river clean-up on the Wekiva River - the temperature was in the low 40s, wind chill in the 30s.

Three hours later they returned wet & freezing but they had pulled more than 150 ponds of trash from this beautiful Florida treasure. Of course the Wekiva Island staff & management were out on the river helping then sorted the trash into various recycling bins.

How great it is that we have so many dedicated students & businesses helping to Keep Seminole Beautiful.

Once again thanks to Wekiva Island Marina for use of their canoes; the support of their staff and management; and their dedication to the Wekiva River.
