A Tree Planted at Lake Mary High School

Carey Schulz by Mike Barr

A senior at Lake Mary High School ~ Carey Schulz ~ had a friend ~ Brantley Gittle who wrote a paper on Global Warming. They decided to plant a tree to help offset Greenhouse gases. Carey, a volunteer for Keep Seminole Beautiful called us for help. We called Jim Hunter, the owner of South Seminole Farm & Nursery, 2010 Lake Dr, Casselberry 32707, 407-695-2930 for help. Jim donated a 10’ Red Maple and Carey, Brantley and another Senior Nidhi Hebbar planted the tree on the Seniors final day of school, Friday May 23rd.
