Happy New Year
What a great way to start the New Year – out on the magnificent Wekiva River with a few dedicated volunteers. Our volunteer who came the furthest was from Cyprus – Jim Turney, who is in the US visiting his daughter. He thought being out in nature with his daughter was the perfect way to start the New Year. The seven volunteers pulled 36 pounds of trash & recycling.
Wekiva Falls Resort, a KSB corporate supporter provided the canoes free of charge. On January 14th they are hosting our Health & Environmental Fair in their 6500 square foot Club House from 4 – 8 PM.
