Commending Michael Barr

On Tuesday morning November 13th, I learned the meaning of "High Honor and Great Privilege". The Seminole County Commission presented me with a resolution "Commending Michael Barr on his integrity, sacrifices and dedication to conservation efforts and to the citizens of Seminole County." I'd like to profoundly thank each Commissioner for this honor. I know however this resolution honored those hundreds of volunteers that gave there fellow citizen thousands and thousands of hours of the most precious of all assets - their time; to the dozens of individuals who gave and sacrificed more than at times they could; and to the Supervisors and Executive Director whose lives exemplify the concept of service before self.
