Another … River Clean-up
More than twenty volunteers went out to rid the river of trash and monofilament fishing line. This was our thirteenth Wekiva River effort this so far this year. We’ve also conducted numerous road clean-ups in the Wekiva Basin to stop that trash from being washed down the storm drains into the river.
We’ve had more than a thousand volunteers out helping to Keep Seminole Beautiful. Our volunteers come in all sizes, colors, sexes and ages. We are going to keep the Wekiva River clean.

Our kayakists do their share as well.
Just another river clean-up, hardly – we take personal responsibility for the Wekiva River and each year there are more of us – we do make a difference!
