                  Eco Action River/Lake Clean Up

Directions (see map link below):

From I4 east or west, exit on Lake Mary Boulevard and go east. Continue east past 17-92, 417, and 427 (Ronald Reagan Boulevard). Immediately turn right at the first right turn past 427 onto South Sanford Avenue and drive to the end of the road (2 miles) where it dead ends into Lake Jesup Park, on the shore of Lake Jesup. There you should see the canoe trailer and ECO-Action Canoe Captain (for assistance call 407-291-2716).

       Eco Action River/Lake Clean Up

Moss Park Directions:

From Downtown Orlando, take 408 east until the 417 exit. Continue on 417 south until the Narcoossee road exit. Turn right onto Narcoossee road and continue about 1.5 miles where you should see Moss Park road on the right. Turn right and continue down the road for about 4.5 miles until you see the ECO-Action trailer near the park entrance.

Non-native Invasive Plants & litter

 

The Black Hammock Wilderness Area - parking at Howard Ave & Barr Street.

 

We are going to work on the “Jim Logue Way Trail” both Friday and Saturday mornings. This is a great trail named for a great man who fought for many years to defend the Black Hammock. After Jim died, the county named this trail for him. We'll be clearing invasive plants & litter.

 

Please wear closed shoes, bring your gloves, bug spray, sun screen and water. 

 

It’s a great trail for photos if you like taking pictures. Join us … you’ll enjoy helping and get some fresh air and exercise. We do make a difference!

Geneva Wilderness Area Clean up

 

The Geneva Wilderness Area is the crown jewel of Seminole County’s Natural Lands.  We’ll be working here both Friday and Saturday afternoons. We'll be doing a litter and invasive plant removal in this area, subject to weather conditions. We’ll meet in first parking area off County Road 426.

 

Please wear closed shoes, bring your gloves, bug spray, sun screen and water. 

 

It’s a great trail for photos if you like taking pictures. Join us … you’ll enjoy helping and get some fresh air and exercise. We do make a difference!

We’ll be working here on the last Sunday of most months. We'll be doing a litter and invasive plant removal in this area. Please park at the designated parking area at the Trail Head.

 

Please wear closed shoes, bring your gloves, bug spray, sun screen and water.

 

It’s a great trail for photos if you like taking pictures. It's a great wild life spot. Join us … you’ll enjoy helping and get some fresh air and exercise. This is a very easy family friendly one mile trail ending at the Saint Johns River.
