This park is located on the beautifully shaded General Hutchinson Parkway between U.S. 17-92 and State Road 427 north of Longwood. The park is a step back into time. You will see natural vegetation and marsh lands as you make your way on the boardwalk to "The Senator", the park's main attraction a 3,500 year old Bald Cypress. This property was donated to Seminole County by Senator M.O. Overstreet and dedicated by President Calvin Coolidge in 1929. This park in located off Douglas Avenue at the end of West Highland Street in the City of Altamonte Springs. This is a 40 acre park that offers passive and active recreation opportunities. There is picnicking, a playground, and pavilions for passive recreation seekers. And there is tennis, racquetball, wallyball, basketball, sand volleyball, and jogging/walking exercise trails for those looking for active recreation.

| Flagler Trail - St Johns River Trail Head 1 Osceola Fish Camp Rd, Geneva, FL 32732 We’ll be working here on the last Sunday of most months. We'll be doing a litter and invasive plant removal in this area. Please park at the designated parking area at the Trail Head. Please wear closed shoes, bring your gloves, bug spray, sun screen and water. It’s a great trail for photos if you like taking pictures. It's a great wild life spot. Join us … you’ll enjoy helping and get some fresh air and exercise. This is a very easy family friendly one mile trail ending at the Saint Johns River.
