The Second Annual Enviro-camp was held July 9 through the 13th at the Geneva Wilderness Area. It is a joint project between the Seminole Soil & Water Conservation District and Seminole County's Natural Lands Program for Middle School students modeled after the National Envirothon program. The Envirothon is a problem solving, natural resource education program. It is a field-oriented program in which students, working in teams of five, learn to use critical thinking skills, work as a team, and develop problem-solving and communications skills to conduct investigations about environmental issues.
