Eco-Action led by Beth Hollenbeck did a clean-up on Lake Concord in Casselberry on Sunday afternoon. Beth and her team of environmental warriors have done 600 river, lake, creek, ocean clean-ups. They have pulled tons of trash and monofilament fishing line from our waterways. Beth has been a partner with Keep Seminole Beautiful since we started in 2007. She is one of our original members of the Board of Directors.

Lake Concord Park is an awesome park along the western shore of the Lake. In addition to the children’s play areas, there are large open shady grassy areas to just sit and enjoy this tranquil setting. Casselberry has built a rain garden in the park along with informational signs that explains how it works. Every home owner should come by and see this beautiful way to landscape and retain rain water runoff on your property
