12-10-11 9-11 | Non-Native Invasive Plant Removal Big Tree Park 761 GENERAL HUTCHISON PKWY LONGWOOD, FL 32750 We have non-native invasive plants growing in our forests. The only environmentally sensitive way to remove these is by hand. We will be putting our efforts into pulling these up so that we can plant native plants on some future events. 12-11-12 2 to 5 PM | This is a fun family activity. We take 2 or 3 person canoes (with kids 4 person) and go out on the magnificent Wekiva River and use small nets to pick up any trash we see. A very easy canoe trip that offers great camera moments. Eco-Action is joining us on this one... For more details call Mike at 407-234-7283
