Casselberry's supply of strange and exotic animals will not be limited to monitor lizards and red tail hawks. For a month and a half, the public will have the opportunity to experience wildlife in all its artistic glory in the upcoming art exhibit Wild About Animals. The event, part of the City Hall Public Art Series, will begin with a grand opening on Tuesday, August 21st, from 6:00 until 9:00pm, in the Commission Chambers.

10-Kilometer (6 miles) Walk

 

The Mid-Florida Milers Walking Club a at Lake Lotus Park, 1153 Lake Lotus Park Rd., Altamonte Springs.  A shorter 5K (3 miles) route will be available.The walk will start at walk will start Lake Lotus Park, Pavilion #2. Weekend parking is located off of Magnolia Homes Rd. From there, a tram will shuttle walkers to the pavilion. Register any time between 9:00 & 10:00am. No pre-registration for the walk is necessary. Walkers can start as soon as they register. Detailed printed walking instructions are provided.The cost is $3.00 for AVA credit walkers; FREE for non-credit walkers. The walk will be in Lake Lotus Park and surrounding residential areas. Not suitable for strollers & wheelchairs. Pets are not permitted.
